Screenings of James Cameron’s classic with live orchestra to go ahead in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow
Tissues at the ready, Titanic Live is coming to a town near you. Fans of the blockbuster are invited to experience the tale of Jack and Rose like never before. Special screenings of James Cameron’s 1997 classic Titanic will be accompanied by a live orchestra that will bring James Horner’s unforgettable score to life. Presale tickets for Titanic Live are available now. General sale tickets go on sale at 10am on Fri 26 Oct.
Titanic remains one of the most prominent films of the 90s after breaking box office records, grossing over $2 billion and winning 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
Composer James Horner’s score won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and Dramatic Score in the same year. It remains the highest-selling orchestral soundtrack of all time. For the 2019 Titanic Live tour a full symphony orchestra, choir and Celtic musicians will perform the soundtrack in sync with the film which will be projected onto a large screen at each venue.
Titanic Live first premiered in 2015 and will tour again next year. The string of shows begins on Tue 2 Apr at Echo Arena in Liverpool before nights at Manchester Arena and First Director Arena in Leeds with a final performance on Fri 5 Apr at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow.
